Salesforce Developer Tracks

Platform Developer

The Platform Developer track is for you if you are an experienced programmer who already knows how to build programmatic solutions using languages such as Java. It's also for you if you have experience using the Salesforce Platform and you're familiar with the Security and Data Model as well as the declarative capabilities of the platform. In this track, you'll build upon your existing knowledge and skills to learn how to create programmatic solutions using Salesforce's language—Apex.

This track is designed to get experienced JavaScript developers up and running on the B2C Commerce Cloud Platform. During this interactive track, developers will gain hands-on experience building and customizing a storefront site using Storefront Reference Architecture. Core programming concepts, relevant files, and scripting language will be explored through the modification of an existing storefront.
