  • Complete the App Development with Salesforce DX badge within the challenge period. We know you’re busy, so each unit is designed to be completed in 45 minutes or less.
  • Share your progress on Twitter by tweeting: “Game over! I completed the #DontStopDeploying Challenge!” Make sure to tweet during the challenge period and include a screenshot showing that you earned the badge! (We recommend you tweet a screenshot of the “Woohoo!” screen, or of your Trailhead profile page showing the earned badge)

Who can participate in the challenge?

All Salesforce developers of any skill level – no prior Salesforce DX experience is necessary! If you want to dip your toe into the water to learn a little more about Salesforce DX, we encourage you to participate in the challenge.

When does the challenge start and end?

The challenge starts September 18th, 2017 at 12:01 a.m. PT and finishes September 29th, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. PT.

When are new challenge videos posted?

New challenge videos are posted each weekday. Please see the examples above.

What if I have already earned the App Development with Salesforce DX badge?

Earn any badge from the Get Started with Salesforce DX trail, post your tweet, and fill out the form to qualify for the swag pack. Already done with the trail? Wow, nice work Trailblazer! Tweet, fill out the form and we’ll get a swag pack out to you.

Can I join the challenge after it’s started?

Absolutely! You can join at any time throughout the challenge period. Just catch up and earn the badge to be eligible to receive swag!

What if I get stuck on a challenge?

Not to worry, it happens to the best of us! Tweet your question using #AskForce for help. Pro tip: include a screenshot of the progress blocker in your post.

What should the screenshot look like?

Here are a few examples – just make sure your screenshot shows that you earned the App Development with Salesforce DX badge.

How do I collect my swag?

After you complete the badge and tweet out, be one of the first 1,000 participants to fill out the completion form to let us know you’ve successfully completed the challenge. Since we can’t teleport your swag to you, we’ll mail it to the address you provide in the form within 12 weeks. In order to be eligible for the swag pack, you must earn the App Development with Salesforce DX Trailhead badge (or any of the badges from the Get Started with Salesforce DX trail if you’ve already earned the App Development with Salesforce DX Trailhead badge), post your Tweet, and fill out the form by 11:59 p.m. PT on September 29th, 2017. Remember that only the first 1,000 participants to complete these steps will be eligible to win. We will email the lucky winners once the challenge has concluded.
