Salesforce Analytics users create their own version of your app from the template.

Template at a High Level
Analytics Templates technology lets you leverage the effort of creating an Analytics app. When you build an app, you load data into Analytics, transform it, create visualizations from the data, and design dashboards. Instead of having to do all that work themselves, other organizations can use your template to create their own version of an app built by you. -
Template Dissected
Turning an Analytics app into a template creates a WaveTemplate object, which is made up of app UI assets and template assets. -
