Get started with the Data Federation API.
Use the quick start section to understand the configuration necessary to try examples.
- Make sure that your Customer 360 Data Manager administrator and Salesforce Org administrators have completed the appropriate configuration for your component or app.
- Identify the DF external data source or DF named credential configuration you want to use to issue your queries.
- Discover the available objects and fields that you can query using the Service resource.
- Use the Version, Metadata Repository Version, Queryable Schemas, and Query Dialect resources to determine valid values for the Query Resource.
- Use the Query resource to issue queries across clouds.
