jConfigure Status Values for Resource Absence Handling in Home Health
To configure the updated status of visits affected by field resource absences, you must
make some changes in Field Service Settings. Then, you have to define the status transition flows
in Field Service.

- In the App Launcher, find and select Field Service Settings.
- Click Scheduling and click General Logic.
- Ensure that Activate approval confirmation on resource absences isn’t selected.
- Click Service Appointment Life Cycle and click Status Transitions.

Define the transitions for status values that you want.
For example, let’s say you want the updated status to be Unassigned. You’ll have to define what values change to Unassigned, and what values Unassigned changes to.
- Save your changes.
