Get Started with Manufacturing Cloud Integrations

Manufacturing Cloud integrations are available in MuleSoft Direct for customers to deploy to their MuleSoft instance. The integration APIs allow customers to extend or customize the integrations as required.

To learn more about the integrations, see Industry Integration Solutions.

Before you begin, verify that you meet these prerequisites.

  • You must have a Connected App in Salesforce. The Client ID and Client Secret are used for authentication during the integration app deployment.
  • You must have SAP authentication details during the deployment process.

Learn about the different types of manufacturing service integration apps in MuleSoft Exchange and when to use them. See MuleSoft Direct Integrations.

Before you use the Industry Integrations, you must read and accept the terms and conditions of usage and enable access to them. See Enable Access to Industry Integrations.

Securely connect your Salesforce and MuleSoft instances by logging in to your MuleSoft Anypoint Platform account or using the credentials from a connected app in your MuleSoft instance. See Connect Your Salesforce and MuleSoft Instances.

Enable an integration to configure and deploy an instance of the integration and its dependent apps in your MuleSoft instance. Enable an integration multiple times to create multiple instances of the same integration. See Enable Integrations.

After you deploy an integration app in your MuleSoft instance, you can extend the app in Anypoint Studio to meet your business needs. See Extend your Integration App.

After the integration asset is deployed, Salesforce creates a named credential for the integration instance. The named credential specifies the URL of a callout endpoint and its required authentication parameters in one definition. See Named Credentials in Salesforce Help.
