Contact

Represents a contact, which is a person associated with an account.

Where possible, we changed noninclusive terms to align with our company value of Equality. We maintained certain terms to avoid any effect on customer implementations.

When importing contact data, users need the Set Audit Fields upon Record Creation permission to assign values to audit fields such as CreatedDate. Audit fields are automatically updated during API operations unless you set these fields yourself.
