We are excited to announce the launch of our newly designed Salesforce Developers website! We heard your feedback and we’ve been working hard to build a new, more unified experience for our developer community. The website went through a major transformation from the inside out, and this is just the beginning.

The backstory

With the vast set of technologies that Salesforce has built and acquired over the years, information and documentation was spread across multiple web properties and micro-sites. Growth is a good problem to have, but this multi-site structure for developer resources was not ideal for easily finding what you needed.

After conducting a number of interviews, focus groups, and surveys, we gathered valuable feedback that has informed the design of the new website.

A new story

Our new site is a modern, single destination with all the resources you need as a developer to build innovative apps fast, including up-to-date documentation and API overviews to help you find the right solutions. The site is also powered by our own technology — Lightning Web Runtime (LWR) and custom Lightning Web Components (LWC) — to serve a faster and more responsive experience.

The updated website makes it easier for you to find the resources that you need to build innovative apps fast, including up-to-date documentation and API overviews to help you understand if it’s right for you.

With the new website, you can:

EXPLORE — Learn about Salesforce technology and explore code samples and documentation.
LEARN — Read, view, and hear about the latest innovations and news from our developer experts.
BUILD — Simplify your workflow and get automating quickly with Salesforce technology.
INTEGRATE — Get hands-on with Salesforce APIs and put them to work.
CONNECT — Connect and learn from other developers, and join exciting developer events.

Your new homepage

The new homepage gets you to the latest news, feature information, and developer tooling faster than ever before. You’ll also find quick links to our revamped Developer Centers which showcase resources curated by our expert Developer Advocates.

More on Developer Centers

Developer Centers are exactly that – a central resource dedicated to helping you build on Salesforce, including relevant sample applications from our gallery of Code Samples and SDKs, plus links to learning paths on Trailhead to help you get started.

Documentation and APIs, oh my!

We’re excited to offer a new developer and API docs experience — and the beginning of our unified developer documentation portal. Along with the full breadth of product documentation, you’ll find previously disconnected resources, such as the Pardot API and Commerce Cloud Managed Runtime documentation, all on the same developer website. Plus, we’re just getting started. We’ve got more improvements and integrations planned for developer docs in the future.

Get started on the new, dedicated docs page – which includes a unified catalog for docs and APIs that you can easily search and browse.

Speaking of search, we know that good internal search is key to quickly finding what you need. We’re working on improving this global feature. We’ve launched the first phase with expanded search results to include developer resources from across the Salesforce ecosystem and community.

It takes a village

This update to the website has been and continues to be a huge collaborative effort across many different teams. We’re excited to continue building an experience that helps you better explore, build, and be successful. This would not have been possible without the tireless effort of our engineering, advocate, and marketing teams— and most importantly, we couldn’t have done it without the support of our amazing community of developers (yes, you!).

Feedback welcome

We recognize that website redesigns can initially be disruptive and we are grateful for all the feedback we’ve received so far. Whether it’s a new or known issue, we’re actively incorporating feedback to optimize the website.

As we continue to build towards the vision of a unified developer website experience, we’d love to hear from you. Data is valuable, but your voice is even more valuable. We’d love to hear from you via the feedback form on the website — tell us how we can continue to enhance your experience.
