August 12: Get early access to the release by signing up for a pre-release org
Developers can sign up for a Winter ’22 pre-release org and be the experience the latest enhancements and features. With a pre-release org, you can build without the worry of affecting your real-world data.

August 16: Preview the release notes
Also, get the most out of the release notes with these tips, and see how we’re implementing community-suggested features in the You Asked For It and IdeaExchange tabs. August 26: Refresh your sandbox
Refresh your sandbox by August 26 to get early access to all the Winter ’22 Developer features. Read the Sandbox Preview article for everything you need to know and check back on August 27 to experience an exclusive preview!
August 27: Take the latest release module
We’ll be curating a list of the most exciting features in the Winter ’22 release — complete the module and learn about them! Don’t forget to follow along with our daily Learn MOAR blogs as they become available beginning September 6.
August 30: Release overview deck and feature matrix
Check out the Release Overview Deck to get an at-a-glance view of new features. When the Winter ’22 release becomes available, you can view the ‘feature matrix’ for an overview of which features may affect the users in your org.
September 10: Release Readiness Live
This multi-day, live-streaming event allows you to hear from Product Managers across Salesforce as they share exciting demos of the latest features.
September 10, October 1, October 8: Release Weekends
Check the Maintenance Calendar for exactly when your Salesforce org will get Winter ’22 features. Scroll through the list and check your Salesforce instance (NA__, EMEA__) against the release dates listed in the calendar. Once the release window has passed for your environment, you’ll have access to the newest features in your production environment!
