🎉 Agentforce Vibes 2.0 GA!!
After a successful journey through pre-release, Agentforce Vibes 2.0 graduates to general availability. This is the first stable release of the redesigned agentic development environment built on Salesforce's Coding Agent Platform, powered by Claude and the Mastra agent orchestration engines.
Everything we introduced in pre-release is now stable, with the safety, MCP, and chat experience
improvements from 4.0.1 – 4.0.4 included by default.

- 💬 A redesigned chat experience with multi-tab conversations, conversation history, reasoning visibility, tool execution details, automatic context management, and PNG/JPEG image attachments (paste, drag-and-drop, or attach button) on a per-conversation budget.
- 🧠 Plan Mode for breaking down complex work into structured plans and manageable tasks.
- 🛠️ Tool execution with approvals, native VS Code diff-based review, and "Run safe defaults"
as the out-of-the-box session mode — auto-approving in-workspace edits while requiring approval

Bypass mode surfaces an explanatory inline alert when prompting for protected-file or.git/writes. - 🔌 Expanded MCP support, including platform-hosted MCP servers, improved configuration, more reliable connections, and per-tool permission controls with auto-approval for trusted read-only OOTB Salesforce MCP tools (Salesforce DX, API Context, Metadata Experts).
- 📚 Built-in support for Skills and Rules to guide agent behavior and package reusable expertise, with skill-first discovery for UI bundle and media prompts.
- 👀 Live previews for Lightning Web Components and metadata visualizations, plus React UI bundle previews (require the Salesforce Live Preview extension and Multi-Framework enabled in your org).
- 🤖 Access to the latest Claude and GPT models through a unified model picker, with correct billing-tier resolution across org and model switches.
