Modifying the Trial for an Upgrade

Occasionally, you will want to maintain your trials to reflect changes to your app or its custom branding. To do so, you’ll need to:

• Create and publish a new version of your managed package (or an extension package) with your app changes.
• Have a Trialforce Source Organization (TSO) to upload your new package. You can reuse the TSO you used to create your original Trialforce template, or you can create a new one. If you decide to create a new TSO, be sure to link it to your AppExchange listing.

To update your trial:

1. Install your updated managed package (or extension package) into your TSO
2. Make any other desired changes in the TSO, such as loading sample data or updating custom branding.
3. Create a new Trialforce template for your trial
4. Submit the template for review.. If there haven’t been major changes to your app, the review should be relatively quick.
5. Once you get the approval, link your new template to your HTML signup form.
