Linking a Trialforce Template to the Signup Form

You can associate a specific Trialforce template with your HTML signup form. This ensures that when users fill out the form to request a trial, they will receive a new trial organization with your app installed, along with any sample content or records you added into the template. If this step is skipped, users who fill out the form will receive a generic trial organization that expires in two days.

To link a template to the signup form:
  1. Log in to your Trialforce Source Organization.
  2. From Setup, click App Setup | Trialforce.
  3. Note the template ID of the Trialforce template you wish to use. This has a value similar to: 0TTi0000000Sxd8.
  4. Note the Formname value on your signup form
  5. Log a case to associate your Trialforce template with the signup form.
    1. Log in to the Partner Community.
    2. Under the Support tab, click New Case.
    3. Select the AppExchange and Feature Requests | Trialforce category.
    4. In the description, provide the ID of your Trialforce template from Step 3 and the Form Name of your signup form from Step 4.

You’ll receive an email confirming that your request has been processed. Test that the template has been properly associated to the registration form by filling out and submitting the form. You should receive an email when the new trial has been provisioned.
