Providing a Free Trial

Everyone likes to try before they buy and free trials provide that opportunity for your prospects. Free trials enable you to reach a wider range of customers and maximize the distribution and adoption of your app. It’s not uncommon for partners to more than double their leads by enabling free trials of their apps. You have several options for providing a free trial of your app.
  • From AppExchange, by having prospects install your app
  • From AppExchange, by configuring a test drive
  • From AppExchange, using Trialforce
  • From your website, using Trialforce

Trialforce is a provisioning technology for salesforce.com organizations. It enables ISV partners to set up and manage free trials of their applications. Using Trialforce, you can configure your Force.com app to your specifications, include relevant sample data, and even customize the look and feel of your app to reflect your company’s branding.
