Before We Begin: Download the Deliveries App

As we mentioned previously, Acme Wireless delivery drivers use a custom app to create, update, and track their deliveries. We want to add a Lightning Page to it so we can surface it in Salesforce1, but before we can do that, we need to download the custom app.

  1. Go to https://github.com/forcedotcom/Salesforce1-Dev-Guide-Setup-Package.
  2. Click Download ZIP.
  3. Save the Salesforce1-Dev-Guide-Setup-Package.zip to your hard drive.
  4. Extract the Salesforce1-Dev-Guide-Setup-Package.zip file.
    In it, you’ll find Salesforce1_Dev_Guide_Deliveries_App.zip.
  5. Now extract the Salesforce1_Dev_Guide_Deliveries_App.zip file.

Remember where you extracted the Deliveries app files, because we’ll be returning there shortly.
