Use Field Defaults

When you have fields on a screen that user must enter, create defaults for as many of them as you can.

For example, if you create a form with a multi-select picklist, consider defaulting the field to a particular value. This way the user can change it if necessary, but otherwise can simply accept the default for quicker workflow.
