Styles A-Z/D/Drag-and-Drop

Drag-and-Drop

Use as an adjective, not a verb or noun. For example: Drag-and-drop editing, a drag-and-drop feature.

Use drag by itself as a verb. The action of dragging includes dropping the item in place. For example: Drag the item to another day of the week.

See also Mouse Terminology.
