Look At What We've Done

Now let’s check how a candidate record looks on our mobile device.

  1. Launch Salesforce, and log in if you’re prompted.
  2. From the navigation menu, tap Show More | Candidates
  3. Tap C-00001.

The record highlights includes some information, but two of the fields are blank. This is because when we created this record in the last section, we only filled in the required fields (First Name, Last Name, and Email) and City. Let’s fill in those other fields so we can see the compact layout in all its glory!

  1. Swipe left to the record details page.
  2. Tap Edit.
  3. Fill in some of the empty fields. You can add more, but at the least, make sure that Education and Years of Experience have values.
  4. Tap Save.

If you are able to successfully create a new candidate record and see the right values in the highlights, let's move on to the Job Application object!
