Salesforce is committed to supporting API versions for a minimum of three years from the date of first release. In order to mature and improve the quality and performance of APIs, some versions that are more than three years old aren’t supported.

When Salesforce plans to deprecate an API version, they give advanced notice at least one year before support ends. Salesforce directly notifies customers who are using API versions planned for deprecation.

Versions 21.0 through 30.0 of Connect REST API will be deprecated in the Summer ’22 release. For more information, see this Knowledge Article: Salesforce Platform API Versions 21.0 through 30.0 Retirement.
