Uninstall Data Loader

You can uninstall Data Loader from your Windows or macOS machine.
Available in: both Salesforce Classic (not available in all orgs) and Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions

Uninstall Data Loader from Windows

  1. Locate and delete the Data Loader installation folder. The default installation folder is \Users\<username>\dataloader\<version>.
  2. Delete the Data Loader desktop icon link.
  3. Delete the Data Loader link from the Windows Start menu.

Uninstall Data Loader from macOS

  1. Locate and delete the Data Loader installation folder. The default installation folder is /Users/<username>/dataloader/<version>.
  2. Delete the Data Loader link from the Desktop folder.
  3. Delete the Data Loader link from the Applications folder.
