Making Requests with Your Chat API Endpoint

To make requests to the Chat server, you must use your Chat API endpoint.

Your Chat API endpoint is a unique URL that lets you access data from your organization’s Chat sessions.

To find your organization’s Chat API endpoint, from Setup, enter “Chat Settings” in the Quick Find box, then select Chat Settings.

Replace the hostname variable with your API endpoint in the URL for each new request.
