Lightning Component Library
The Lightning Component Library is your hub for component reference information,
including the Component Reference with live examples, and tools for Lightning Web Security
and Lightning Locker.
You can find the Component Library in two places: a public site and an authenticated one
that’s linked to your Salesforce org. In the authenticated site, the Component Reference
section of the Component Library has some additional features.
- Public Component Library
- View this site without logging in to Salesforce. The Component Reference includes documentation and reference information for the Lightning base components.
- Component Library for your org
- View this site by logging in to your Salesforce org and navigating to https://MyDomainName.my.salesforce.com/docs/component-library.
- The authenticated site has additional features for the Component Reference.
- View Aura Lightning components that are unique to your org.
- View Aura Lightning components that are installed in a managed package. You can filter to view components owned by your org or installed in packages. Find the filtering options at https://MyDomainName.my.salesforce.com/docs/component-library/overview/components and expand the Filters list to find the Owners filters.
Component Reference
The Component Reference contains usage information for base components.
- The legacy Component Reference is available as part of the Component Library, which is no longer updated and will no longer be published in Spring ’26.
- The new Lightning Component Reference is at https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/platform/lightning-component-reference.
- The authenticated Component Library continues to display your custom Aura components that are unique to your org or that are installed in a managed package.
