Experience Delivery (Beta)

Experience Delivery (beta) is being discontinued in Winter ’27. If you didn’t enable this feature, it’s no longer available to turn on. If you enabled this feature, you can continue to use it until October 2026. However, we recommend that you turn off the feature before then.

For sites created with the Build Your Own (LWR) template, Experience Delivery is a pilot or beta service that is subject to the Beta Services Terms at Agreements - Salesforce.com or a written Unified Pilot Agreement if executed by Customer, and applicable terms in the Product Terms Directory. Use of this pilot or beta service is at the Customer’s sole discretion.

Note

Experience Delivery was supported in new and existing LWR and enhanced LWR sites that use the Build Your Own (LWR) template. You can turn off Experience Delivery at the site level in the Settings tab of the site’s Administration workspace.

  1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Digital Experiences and select All Sites.
  2. Click Workspaces next to the site that’s hosted on Experience Delivery.
  3. In the workspace, click Administration.
  4. On the Settings page, in the Experience Delivery section, click Disable.

The site is then published and migrated to the standard Lightning Web Runtime infrastructure.

Beginning in Winter ’27, when you publish a site that’s still hosted on Experience Delivery, it’s automatically migrated to the standard Lightning Web Runtime infrastructure. If you have a published site that’s hosted on Experience Delivery and you don’t republish it, the site is still available, but its performance can degrade over time.
