Marketing Cloud Engagement Social Studio REST API

Salesforce is retiring the Social Studio family of products on November 18, 2024. Customers won���t have access to Social Studio after the retirement date. Customers may continue to use Social Studio for the duration of their current contract or until November 18, 2024, whichever comes first. To learn more, see Social Studio Retirement.

Social Studio API is a RESTful web service for retrieving, analyzing, and modifying social media data contained in your Social Studio Account.

You can use Social Studio API to interact with Social Studio programmatically. For example, you can extract post data and insights directly from your Social Accounts and Topic Profiles, access post metadata such as post tags and source tags, and manage the setup and configuration within your Social Studio organization. The API can integrate with internal systems, CRMs, and Business Intelligence tools.

Social Studio API access can be used only for integration with other Salesforce systems or with other internal systems owned and operated by the customer. Salesforce sometimes monitors API usage. Uptime commitments or service-level agreements don’t apply to API access. For more information, see the Social Studio Trust and Compliance documentation.
