In April 2014 over 75 Salesforce Developer Groups from around the world gathered to take part in Salesforce1 Developer Week. The event was a celebration of the 1.5 million strong developer community that these groups had created and nurtured. It also provided an opportunity to get hands-on with Salesforce1 and experience the power of the platform. Many groups saw record-breaking attendance! We sent our developer evangelists, Force.com MVPs, and an executive or two out on the road, visiting groups in 21 different countries. They had a few instructions for their trip – have fun, teach the community, and grab some video while you’re there. As further proof that mobile is indeed crucial for your business, the team was equipped with only their mobile phones and a few add-ons to get the footage.
