Add the Visualforce Custom Action to the Page Layout

Now we’ll add the custom action to the Account page layout.
  1. From Setup, click Customize | Accounts | Page Layouts.
  2. Click Edit next to the Warehouse Schema Account Layout.
  3. Click the Actions category in the palette.
  4. In the Publisher Actions section, click override the global publisher layout.
  5. Drag the Create Quick Order element into the Publisher Actions section so that it appears as the first element on the left.
    Our mobile technicians are going to use this custom action a lot, and we're putting it at the start of the list so it'll be one of the first actions they see in the action bar.
  6. Drag the Mobile Smart Actions element back out of the section and to the palette.
  7. Click Save.

Now that we’ve created the custom action and added it to the page layout, we’re ready to see it in action.
