Requesting a Trialforce Management Organization

Trials for an application are managed in a Trialforce Management Organization (TMO). This enables you to create your Trialforce Source Organization (TSO) and specify custom branding for your login page and emails. To receive a TMO, you must be a qualified ISV partner and your app must have passed the AppExchange security review. The TMO should be a separate organization from your business organization or the Developer Edition organization in which you built your app.

To request a TMO:
  1. Log in to the Partner Portal.
  2. If you don't already have a Developer Edition (DE) organization to serve as your TMO, request one by clicking Create a test org on the Partner Portal main page.
  3. Once you have the DE organization, log in to the Partner Community.
  4. Click New Case under the Support tab of the Partner Community
  5. Specify the category as AppExchange and Feature Requests | Trialforce .
  6. Complete the form to create a ticket requesting a TMO. In the body of the ticket, provide the requested information, including details of your package and the organization ID of the DE organization you want to use as your TMO.

    To find your Organization ID, go to Company Profile | Company Information in the Setup menu, and see the Organization Details section.

  7. Click Save.

A ticket is generated and sent to the partner operations team. The team will review the case and configure your DE organization to be the TMO, or contact you if there are any additional questions.
