Synchronize View
The Force.com IDE Synchronize view allows you to synchronize your project with the server without changing perspectives.
By default, Eclipse prompts you to switch to the Team Synchronization perspective when you synchronize your project with the server. To configure Eclipse to use the Force.com IDE Synchronize view:
- In the Eclipse menu bar, choose Window | Preferences.
- In the Preferences dialog, click Team in the navigation tree on the left.
- In the Perspectives drop-down list, choose None.
This setting also affects synchronizing with a version control system.
