Associate Flows to Records with the Guided Action List Component

Use the Guided Action List component to create RecordActions that associate flows with a record. Add flows to the component when records open from phone screen pops, Live Agent chats, list views, or related records. When a user adds a flow to the list at runtime, the addition also creates a RecordAction that associates the flow with the record.

Create RecordActions Using Channel Defaults

Use the Lightning App Builder to add the Guided Action List component to your page, then edit the component’s channel settings. The flows that you configure in these settings are associated to the record when it’s opened in that channel, and no other RecordAction association exists.

If you have a process in Process Builder or an API that associates flows to records, those RecordActions are displayed in the Guided Action List instead. Associations that you create in a process or API override channel defaults.

Create RecordActions by Adding Flows

In Guided Action Settings, you can configure which flows are available for users to add at runtime. When a user adds a flow to the component, the flow is associated with the record in a RecordAction.
