Budget

Tracks an estimate of future revenue or expenses during a specific time period. This object is available in API version 53.0 and later.

Special Access Rules

This object is available only if the Grants Management license is enabled, the Grants Management managed package is installed, and the Budget Management permission set is assigned to budget management users.

Fields

Field	Details
Amount	Type currency Properties Create, Filter, Nillable, Sort, Update Description The total amount of funds for a budget. This field is left blank for non-currency budget projects.
Description	Type string Properties Create, Filter, Group, Nillable, Sort, Update Description The description of the budget and how it's used for your business.
LastReferencedDate	Type dateTime Properties Filter, Nillable, Sort Description The timestamp when the current user last accessed this record, a record related to this record, or a list view.
LastViewedDate	Type dateTime Properties Filter, Nillable, Sort Description The timestamp for when the current user last viewed this record. If this value is null, it’s possible that this record was referenced (LastReferencedDate) and not viewed.
Name	Type string Properties Create, Filter, Group, idLookup, Sort, Update Description The name of the budget.
OwnerId	Type reference Properties Create, Defaulted on create, Filter, Group, Sort, Update Description The ID of the user who currently owns this budget. This is a polymorphic relationship field. Relationship Name Owner Relationship Type Lookup Refers To Group, User
PeriodEndDate	Type date Properties Create, Filter, Group, Nillable, Sort, Update Description Ending date for the budget.
PeriodName	Type string Properties Create, Filter, Group, Nillable, Sort, Update Description The name of the time period when the budget is active.
PeriodStartDate	Type date Properties Create, Filter, Group, Nillable, Sort, Update Description Starting date for the budget.
Quantity	Type double Properties Create, Filter, Nillable, Sort, Update Description The quantity used to track non-currency budget projects. For example, this could be a number of hours or a number of resources. This field is left blank for currency budget projects.
Status	Type picklist Properties Create, Filter, Group, Nillable, Sort, Update Description The status of the budget. Possible values are: `Active` `Archived` `Planned`
Type	Type picklist Properties Create, Filter, Group, Nillable, Sort, Update Description Classifies the budget by how it's used. Possible values are: `Department` `Program` `Project`
