Prepare to Install an AppExchange Package
Before you install an AppExchange package, verify that it's compatible with your
Salesforce implementation by checking the technical requirements. Optionally, determine if
the package supports automatic upgrades.
Verify Technical Requirements
Every package has technical requirements, such as the Salesforce editions that it supports. To verify that a package is compatible with your implementation, go to the More Details tab on its AppExchange listing. Then, review the details in the Compatibility and App Details sections.
Determine if the Package Supports Upgrades
If you prefer a solution that receives automatic upgrades, choose a managed package. Unmanaged packages aren’t upgradeable.
