Available in: both Salesforce Classic (not available in all orgs) and Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions

The guide takes you through these high-level tasks.

  • Complete prerequisites for Headless Identity.
  • Create an authentication provider.
  • Configure Experience Cloud settings.
  • Create an external client app.
  • Use Postman to call Headless Identity APIs.

The guide also includes some JavaScript examples for implementing Headless Identity with a single-page app.

To use this guide, you must have a Salesforce admin account. Complete these steps in a non-production environment, such as a sandbox or developer org. Use this guide as a starting point to customize and deploy your own solution in production.
