Salesforce Billing Fields on Standard Objects
Salesforce Billing has added custom fields to some standard Salesforce objects to
represent information specific to billing. These fields are available only in orgs where the
Salesforce Billing managed package is installed.
The Salesforce Billing managed package continues to be available for existing customers, however, there is no longer any new feature development. We will continue to provide support and services for the duration of your contract. You can also add more billing blocks to your Salesforce org during your current subscription term and renew existing subscriptions.
For a more comprehensive and robust Billing solution, we recommend exploring Billing in Revenue Cloud.
Important
The documentation in this developer guide is for the Salesforce Billing managed package. If you're looking for developer documentation for Revenue Cloud, see Get Started with Revenue Cloud Developer Resources.
