Considerations Before You Upload a Receipt

Members can upload receipts of products purchased at third-party stores, and get rewards for eligible purchases.
The Loyalty Management mobile app is available in: all editions that have Loyalty Management and Receipt Scanning enabled

To ensure the receipt upload and scan process is seamless, check these conditions before you upload a scanned receipt.

  • The receipt is legible, and not torn or rumpled.
  • The size of the receipt file is less than 5 MB.
  • The receipt is valid and accurate, and contains this data:
    • purchase date
    • receipt number
    • store name and address,
    • product information
    • quantity purchased
    • price of a unit
    • total price
    • any other information that’s mandatory to process the receipt.
  • The receipt isn’t duplicated.
  • The receipt’s date format matches the store’s date format that’s specified in the Accepted Date Format custom metadata type.

    The custom metadata type supports theese date formats:

    • mm-dd-yyyy
    • dd-mm-yyyy
    • yyyy-mm-dd
    • mm.dd.yyyy
    • dd.mm.yyyy
    • yyyy.mm.dd
    • mm/dd/yyyy
    • dd/mm/yyyy
    • yyyy/mm/dd
