AgentExchange Leads

When you turn on lead collection for your AgentExchange listing and a customer interacts with the listing, AgentExchange records a lead. If you enabled Web-to-Lead in your Salesforce org, AgentExchange delivers the lead to that org. Some Web-to-Lead settings prevent leads from being delivered to your org.

You collect leads when a customer:

  • Installs your solution
  • Takes a test drive
  • Watches a demo or video
  • Signs up for a free trial
  • Requests a private offer
  • Clicks Learn More

Before you turn on lead collection on your listings:

  • Configure Web-to-Lead in the org where you want to receive leads.
  • Turn off Require reCAPTCHA verification in the org’s Web-to-Lead settings. No AgentExchange leads are sent to the org if reCAPTCHA is turned on.

To collect leads, select and configure the customer interactions for your listing. Some interactions have requirements, such as uploading a video before enabling demo-based lead collection.

If lead collection is on, customers are prompted to fill out a sign-up form. The customer form and activity data are then shared as a lead.

You can’t modify the lead form that customers fill out. To share ideas for improving the lead form, go to IdeaExchange.

Note

Regardless of your listing’s lead-collection settings, customers can still view your demo, take a test drive, click to learn more, and install your solution.
