Penny Perfect Pricing

Penny Perfect Pricing gives sales reps accurate, penny-perfect prices for advanced order line items in Manufacturing, Automotive, and Consumer Goods. Use the Penny Perfect Pricing REST API to get instant pricing for a customer’s order line items as they build an order.

With the Penny Perfect Pricing Business API, you can:

Manufacturing Cloud, Automotive Cloud, and Consumer Goods Cloud extend the standard Salesforce platform with a set of standard and custom objects that support advanced (SAP-style) pricing calculation, alongside the account hierarchy and product catalog objects that pricing relies on. This reference describes the objects that make up that “Pricing” object domain: the Penny Perfect Pricing engine (Pricing Calculation Schema, Pricing Specification, Pricing Search Strategy, Pricing Key Type/Attribute, External Pricing Key Value) plus the account and product objects shared with Advanced Orders.

Each object’s reference lists its description, supported API calls, any special access rules, and its fields (including, for each relationship field, its relationship name and the object(s) it refers to), plus its associated objects (such as feed, history, and sharing objects), where documented.

Note on API version availability: All 19 objects covered in this guide are available in API version 68.0 and later.

Note on shared objects: Account, AccountAccountRelation, InternalOrganizationUnit, PartyRoleRelation, and Product2 are foundational objects also documented in the Object Reference for the Salesforce Platform or a companion cloud developer guide (direct links are in the Data Model).
