Use the MCP Server

After you configure your AI assistant to connect to the MCP server for Marketing Cloud Engagement, you’re ready to start managing your contacts, content, and customer data by using your AI assistant. To get started, use natural language to describe what you want the assistant to do. The AI assistant detects keywords in your request and connects to the MCP server to fulfill it. If the AI assistant needs more information, it asks you clarifying questions.

Here are some examples to get you started:

• Create a sendable data extension called LoyaltyMembers with fields Email Address, First Name, Last Name, Email Address, and Signup Date.
• Create a Welcome email journey that sends an email when someone joins the New Customers data extension.
• Create a transactional journey for order confirmation emails triggered by an API event.
• Change the entry source of the Nurture email journey to the High Value Customers 2026 data extension.
