Request a Follow-Up Security Review for External Code or an API-Only Solution

To fix security issues discovered in a previous review, you changed only the code that runs externally to Salesforce or you changed an API-only solution. To request a follow-up review, first log a case on Salesforce Help to receive edit access to your existing security review submission. After you receive edit access, update the submission in the Salesforce Partner Console.

User Permissions Needed
To manage security reviews in the Salesforce Partner Console: Manage Listings
  1. Log in to Salesforce Help with the username that you used to register for the Salesforce Partner Community.
  2. Click the account switcher and verify that your partner account is selected.
  3. Click Contact Support.
  4. Click Create a Case.
    1. For Subject, enter Follow Up Security Review For External Code or API Only: and then append the name of your solution.
    2. For description, mention that you’re a Salesforce partner and you’re requesting a follow-up review for external code or an API-only solution.
    3. When prompted to select a product, click Pick a different product / topic.
    4. For Product, select Partner Community & AppExchange.
    5. For Topic, select Security Review.
    6. For Org ID, enter the ID of a test environment that includes your solution or integration.
    7. Select an instance type and severity level.
  5. Click Create Case.
    We review your request and notify you after you’re assigned edit access to your existing security review submission.
  6. Log in to the Salesforce Partner Community.
  7. Click Publishing | Technologies | Solutions.
  8. Click the name of your solution.
  9. Click Edit Review.
  10. Update your submission, pay the review fee, and resubmit your request.
