Request a Follow-Up Security Review for an AppExchange Solution Where All Issues Are False Positives

You received the results of an AppExchange security review, but you determined that all of the issues that we identified are false positives. To request a follow-up review and share documentation that supports your assessment, log a case on Salesforce Help.

Log a case on Salesforce Help only if all the issues that we identified are false positives. If one or more issues is valid and required code changes, submit your solution for follow-up review using the Salesforce Partner Console.

Important

  1. Log in to Salesforce Help with the username that you used to register for the Salesforce Partner Community.
  2. Click the account switcher, and verify that your partner account is selected.
  3. Click Contact Support.
  4. Click Create a Case.
    1. For Subject, enter Follow Up Security Review For False Positives Only:, and then append your solution’s name.
    2. For description, mention that you’re a Salesforce partner and you’re requesting a follow-up review for a solution where all the identified issues are false positives. If your solution is a managed package, include the ID.
    3. When prompted to select a product, click Pick a different product / topic.
    4. For Product, select Partner Community & AppExchange.
    5. For Topic, select Security Review.
    6. For Org ID, enter the ID of a test environment that includes your solution or integration.
    7. Select an instance type and severity level.
  5. Click Upload Files, and then add documentation that shows why the issues that we identified in an earlier security review were false positives.
  6. Click Create Case.
