Customize Your Chat Window with the Deployment APIs

Customize the dimensions of your customer-facing chat windows. This doesn’t apply for mobile-based browsers.

The legacy chat product is in maintenance-only mode, and we won't continue to build new features. You can continue to use it, but we no longer recommend that you implement new chat channels. Instead, you can modernize your customer communication with Messaging for In-App and Web. Messaging offers many of the chat features that you love plus asynchronous conversations that can be picked back up at any time.

Important

Use the following deployment methods to customize the height and width of the chat window. You can add either of these methods as additional scripts within the code that’s automatically generated when you create a deployment.

This isn’t applicable for mobile browsers, where chats open to the full page.
