Reads, creates, and updates a constituent’s integrated benefits application data as a single, nested record tree. This class implements the Callable interface.
ManageApplicationDataService implements the Callable interface, allowing it to be invoked generically—for example, from Flow or OmniStudio—without a compile-time reference.
The class manages the complete application-data record tree for Integrated Eligibility, providing the same functionality exposed by the POST /connect/integrated-application/application-data resource.
This class ignores the action argument because it supports a single operation. The operation—read, create, or update—is inferred from the inputs provided:
Read — Provide hydrationRecordId without applicationData. Returns the existing application-data tree for the specified record, including its actual record IDs.
Create — Provide applicationData without hydrationRecordId. Persists a new record tree and returns the created data, including the newly assigned record IDs.
Update — Provide both hydrationRecordId and applicationData. Performs a smart update in which only changed records are written, children without IDs are created, and nodes marked with _delete: true are removed.
Input
Provide inputs through args.get('input') using these keys:
contextDefinitionApiName
contextMappingName
contextMappingId
hydrationRecordId
applicationData
Output
The call() method always returns null. Read the operation result from output.get('applicationData'). If the operation fails, applicationData is omitted and the error is provided through output.get('error').
Reads, creates, or updates a constituent’s integrated benefits application-data record tree, depending on the provided inputs.
manageApplicationData(input, output, options)
Reads, creates, or updates a constituent’s integrated benefits application-data record tree, depending on the provided inputs.
Signature
public static void manageApplicationData(Map<String,Object> input, Map<String,Object> output, Map<String,Object> options)
Parameters
input
Type: Map<String,Object>
The request inputs. Supported keys: contextDefinitionApiName, contextMappingName, contextMappingId, hydrationRecordId, and applicationData.
output
Type: Map<String,Object>
The map the method populates with the result. On success, the result is in the applicationData key. On failure, applicationData is omitted and the error is in the error key.
