In-App Messaging

Use in-app messaging to deliver relevant, personalized messages to your app users, even if they haven’t enabled push notifications. In-app messages are engaging full-screen, modal, or banner messages that appear when your users use your app.

To ensure that your app has the latest in-app message data when it comes to the foreground, the SDK loads in-app messages and prepares them for presentation at the top of your app’s view stack. Only one message is displayed each time the app comes into the foreground. Depending on how you configure your app, you can trigger the SDK to download in-app messages in the background.

You can send in-app messages by using Journey Builder. See Salesforce Help: Create an In-App Message Activity in Journey Builder.
