Access Visualization Capabilities
For supported metadata files, use the Metadata Visualizer extension to view a visual representation that helps you interpret raw metadata.
You can access visualizations in multiple ways:
-
From a file tab in VS Code
- In VS Code, open the source file for a metadata component in your DX project that you want to visualize.
- Click Visualize on the upper-right corner of the Tab Editor.
-
From the context menu
- In the VS Code Explorer pane, right-click on the source file for a metadata component in your DX project and click Visualize.
A split panel opens by default and displays the metadata visualization. Optionally, you can switch to the full-screen view.
To automatically see visualizations of any metadata source files as soon as you open them, click the Settings icon in the file visualization pane. Then select the check box for the Auto Load Visualization.
If you want to view or hide visualizations for a plugin, click the Settings icon in the file visualization pane. Under Plugins, select or clear the corresponding checkbox and then reload the window.

From Agentforce Vibes
You can use Agentforce Vibes to create or modify a file that contains metadata. The metadata file information appears as a card with a message
Visualization Available. Click the Visualize button on the card to see the metadata visualization for the files.
