Categories are necessary so that your products appear on the site. Sellers may upload their own categories, but these will not appear directly in the e-commerce environment. This is because, after uploading your categories, you can access the salesforce environment and perform a match with the e-commerce categories, so that the products in your categories are automatically uploaded into the e-commerce categories.
