ExpenseType

The ExpenseType object is a category that’s used to classify an expense that occurs. This object is available in API version 65.0 and later.

Fields

AllocationType

Type: picklist
Properties: Create, Filter, Group, Nillable, Restricted picklist, Sort, Update
Description: How the expense type is allocated.
Possible values:
- GroupAllocation—Group Allocation
- IndividualAllocation—Individual Allocation
- MultipleAllocations—Multiple Allocations
- NotApplicable—Not Applicable

Classification

Type: picklist
Properties: Create, Filter, Group, Nillable, Restricted picklist, Sort, Update
Description: The type of the expense. Valid values are Estimate and Actual. Estimate expenses are used for planning, and actual expenses indicate when expenses are incurred.
Possible values:
- Actual
- Estimate

CurrencyIsoCode

Type: picklist
Properties: Create, Defaulted on create, Filter, Group, Nillable, Restricted picklist, Sort, Update
Description: The ISO currency code associated with the currency values allowed by the Salesforce org. Available only for Salesforce orgs with the multicurrency feature enabled.
Default value: USD
Possible values:
- USD—U.S. Dollar

Description: The SAP Concur payment type information.

IconName

Type: string

Description: The name of the icon shown for an expense type.

IsIncludedInCap

Type: boolean
Properties: Create, Defaulted on create, Filter, Group, Sort, Update
Description: Indicates whether the expense is included in the monetary cap.
Default value: false

LastReferencedDate

Type: dateTime
Properties: Filter, Nillable, Sort
Description: The timestamp when the current user last accessed this record indirectly, for example, through a list view or related record.

LastViewedDate

Type: dateTime
Properties: Filter, Nillable, Sort
Description: The timestamp when the current user last viewed this record or list view.

If this value is null, and LastReferenceDate is not null, the user accessed this record or list view indirectly.

Name

Type: string

Description: Required. The name of the expense type.

OwnerId

Type: reference
Properties: Create, Defaulted on create, Filter, Group, Sort, Update
Description: The ID of the owner of the expense type record.

This field is a polymorphic relationship field.

ParentExpenseTypeId

Description: The parent expense type associated with the record.

This field is a relationship field.

SourceSystemIdentifier

Description: An external ID from the source system for data integrations.

SourceSystemName

Description: The name of the source system for data integrations.

TypeCode

Type: picklist

Description: The SAP Concur expense type code or category.

Associated Objects

This object has the following associated objects. If the API version isn’t specified, they’re available in the same API versions as this object. Otherwise, they’re available in the specified API version and later.
