Configure Agentforce Vibes
Agentforce Vibes is a Visual Studio Code extension with native Salesforce authentication. Out of the box hosted MCP servers appear automatically in the Agentforce Vibes MCP Servers panel. You don’t need to enter a consumer key or configure OAuth credentials. They are available for use as soon as they are enabled in the org.
Prerequisites
Before connecting to a hosted MCP server:
- Install the Agentforce Vibes extension with a Salesforce DX project open. See Install Agentforce Vibes Extension.
- Connect to a Salesforce org in VS Code. See Change or Open Your Default Org.
- Ask your admin to enable the hosted MCP server in your org. See Set Up Your Org.
Enable a Hosted MCP Server

Open the Agentforce Vibes panel in VS Code.
-
Click the Toolkit tab.

Click MCP Servers.

A green Connected status and tool count confirms a successful connection. If the connection fails, see Troubleshooting.
