DistributorAuthorization

Represents the official authorization from an insurance company granting a distributor the permission to act as its agent. This object is available in API version 48.0 and later.

Fields

AccountId

Description: The ID of the distributor’s business account.

AuthorizedInsuranceLineId

Description: The insurance line that the insurance company is authorized to sell.

ContactId

Description: The ID of the contact associated with the producer.

EffectiveDate

Description: The date from which this authorization is in effect.

ExpirationDate

Description: The date on which this authorization expires.

IsActive

Description: Indicates whether the authorization is active (true) or inactive (false).
Default value: false

LastReferencedDate

Type: dateTime

Description: The timestamp for when the current user last viewed a record related to this record.

LastViewedDate

Type: dateTime
Properties: Filter, Nillable, Sort
Description: The timestamp for when the current user last viewed this record. If this value is null, it’s possible that this record was referenced (LastReferencedDate) and not viewed.

LicenseId

Type: reference

Description: The distributor’s business license against which the distributor is authorized.

Name

Type: string

Description: An auto-number identifier for this distributor authorization.

OwnerId

Description: The ID of the record owner.

Status

Type: picklist

Description: The authorization status of the distributor.
Possible values:
- Appointed
- Terminated

TerminationCause

Type: string
Properties: Create, Filter, Group, Nillable, Sort, Update
Description: The reason for the termination of the distributor’s authorization.
