Focus Chain for Task Management

Focus Chain is a task management enhancement that keeps long-running tasks organized with an automatic To-Do list and real-time progress tracking. It helps you stay aligned with complex work by maintaining clear, actionable steps even across long sessions. When using AI-powered features, you remain responsible for reviewing outputs and ensuring they match your requirements.

When you start a task, Agentforce Vibes analyzes the request and creates a markdown checklist. As work progresses, the checklist updates to reflect completed and in-progress items, and the task header shows a step counter (for example, “3/8”). Click the task list to open it in the editor to make any changes. Agentforce Vibes detects the changes and syncs the updated list back into the task workflow.

To use Focus Chain effectively:

1. Start with a clear task description so the initial To-Do list is meaningful.
2. Review the generated checklist and edit items as needed in the Markdown file.
3. Use the progress indicator to track the current step and remaining work.
4. If you switch from Plan Mode to Act Mode, verify that the new To-Do list matches your agreed plan.
