Getting started with Agentforce Vibes as a developer involves installing the extension and completing the in-product setup checklist.

Install Agentforce Vibes Extension — Install the Salesforce Extension Pack, confirm CLI and VS Code version requirements, install Git for Checkpoint support, and configure telemetry.
Set Up Agentforce Vibes — Complete the Getting Setup for Success checklist: confirm the CLI and Extension Pack are current, open an SFDX project, connect a Salesforce org, and configure your AI provider.

Windows only: Agentforce Vibes requires the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable to be installed on your machine. If it isn’t installed, the extension fails to activate. Download and install the latest version before opening VS Code.
