Salesforce Hosted MCP Servers in Agentforce Vibes

Salesforce hosted Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers let Agentforce Vibes connect to remote Salesforce capabilities without relying only on local MCP services. In Agentforce Vibes, these hosted servers are available out-of-the-box after your admin has enabled them in your org. This simplifies onboarding and reduces manual setup for common MCP use cases.

To see the list of hosted MCP servers in Agentforce Vibes, click the icon on the top right and then click the Configure tab.

Salesforce Hosted MCP Servers (Beta) are currently available in DE orgs, Sandboxes, and scratch orgs.

  1. Open ad4_mcp_settings.json using one of these methods:

    • Click the MCP icon in Agentforce Vibes, then click the Settings icon.
    • Click the Remote Servers tab in the MCP panel.
    • Click the Explore your MCP servers and connected tools link on the Let's Vibe chat panel.

    Then click Configure MCP Servers.

  2. Add an entry for each hosted server you want to enable. You can use the server's GitHub wiki URL as the key and the Salesforce API endpoint as the url. The key identifies the hosted MCP server and links directly to its documentation.

  1. Replace <name-of-the-MCP-server> and <name-of-mcp-server-in-the-org> with the actual server name from the available servers list.

Save ad4_mcp_settings.json and reload Agentforce Vibes to activate the connection.
