Order Management

Order Management combines store check with quotes and pricing so field reps can assess a retail location and capture a priced quoted order from the same visit. Store check surfaces products, and quotes and pricing apply price books, pricing recipes, and sales transaction types to build, discount, and lock a quoted order. Both capabilities share visit and account, so a field rep can complete a store check and create a quoted order without switching context.

Store Check

Field reps use store check to assess product availability, display, and promotional compliance during a store visit. Store check structures those assessments so field reps see only the products and checks that apply to the store, based on products, territories, assortments, assessment tasks, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Pricing

A pricing recipe determines which pricing operations run for a quoted order. A pricing procedure inside that recipe defines the sequence of pricing elements that run against each quote line (including list price, volume discounts, tiered volume discounts, condition-based discounts through a Price Adjustment Matrix) and header-level discounts.

Quotes

In Life Sciences, an order is referred to as a quoted order because the Quote object is used to create an order. Quote and quote line item store the quoted order and its products, quantities, prices, and discounts. From the same visit or account used for a store check, a field rep builds a quoted order, then submits it.
